Butterfly is the music which God inspired one man to write. Butterfly is not a band, yet much greater is a tool for getting into the presence of God and giving Him your worship and praise. Rick Strickland, a musician of over 22 years, has been receiving song after song from the Lord. Rick is a talented guitarist who was blessed with a passion for Godly music, and has a heart of worship. Often accompanied by his wife, Sandy, and other christian musicians, Rick takes Butterfly music to local churches and surrounding events.
The style of Butterfly music is often spontaneous depending on the voice of the Spirit and the peticular season. Many of his songs are very fluid in nature, with prophetic lyrics, and wonderful guitar work. Some are laid back and peaceful, while others have a groove that is joyous and make you want to kick off your shoes and dance before the Lord. Whatever the style, the music is very focused and reverant to God.
